GUILTY PLEA FOR MAN WHO RECORDED TYLER CLEMENTI

In 2010, Dharun Ravi, then a Rutger’s University student, secretly recorded and broadcasted his roommates gay encounter. His roommate was Tyler Clementi.

Humiliated, betrayed, and pain stricken, Tyler took his life by jumping from the George Washington Bridge.  

Not long after, Ravi was hit with multiple charges. But due to a change in state law, he was recently granted a new trial.  He entered a guilty plea this past Thursday to ‘invasion of privacy’. The charge seems lenient, but I’m sure he’s haunted by Clementi’s suicide.
