Martin Blackwell, 48, was found guilty of eight counts of aggravated battery and two counts of aggravated assault, according to the Associated Press. Blackwell was sentenced to forty years for the boiling water attack on two gay men. One of the men was the son of Blackwell’s girlfriend. He was in bed with his boyfriend when Blackwell viciously poured boiling water on them, causing second and third degree burns, and scarring them for life.
