Turned Out: Sexual Assault Behind Bars 

I saw the documentary, Turned Out: Sexual Assault Behind Bars many years ago.  But I just ran across it and decided to share.  If you haven’t seen it, it definitely deserves a watch.  From the taking of ass for repayment of debts to falling in love.

We’ve all heard stories of rape in prison, and even consensual gay sex.  In this documentary, some pretty masculine men find themselves in actual relationships.  They even go as far as forming a family unit.

One mentioned in particular, a patriarch or daddy aka protector had a group of boys aka sons who he loved and fucked on the regular.  This is REAL SHIT.  Is it just adapting to survive?  Or are people more sexually fluid than they like to admit?  I like to think that attraction doesn’t always have to do with gender.  I always wondered what happened to these guys when they got out.  Did they go back to straight lifestyles?  Did they keep in contact with the men they claimed to love?  I wish I could find out!  Watch this shit if you haven’t already!

I always thought the title Turned Out: Sexual Assault Behind Bars was a bit misleading.  True, some of them were turned out.  But many were not not assaulted at all, and engaged in consensual gay sex.

I just love the fact that the two men pictured below, one black, one white, were involved in a pretty deep relationship.  Two boys from the DEEP SOUTH get locked up and find themselves in a gay interracial relationship.
